Whether you’re jetting off to Europe, escaping to the beach or heading out for a weekend getaway, there are a few essentials you should never travel without. These are my tried- and-true favorites that make every adventure smoother, stylish, and a little more special.
Stylish Luggage is a must-have. I love my carry on. It’s lightweight, yet sturdy with a hard-shell. My favorite luggage is Level 8. Their luggage glides through airports with ease and I love the beautiful shade of pink. My carry- on is a travel lifeline-so I keep mine chic, functional, and perfectly organized. I enjoy not having to wait for luggage to arrive on the belt after a flight. If you have ever been stranded without luggage, you know its not fun. Yet another reason to master the art of packing light and smart.
I recommend a plastic luggage cover. I know…plastic doesn’t look very chic, however, it does protect the luggage from dirt and rain. Once you arrive at your destination simply remove the plastic cover and the luggage is clean and dry to open. The cover on my carry on below, has velcro which keeps it secure, and has an opening for the handle. When traveling, you’ll often find yourself hauling luggage through hotels, across uneven paths and cobblestone streets, on and off escalators and even boats. The plastic is no- frills, but having purchased other options, and having my luggage arrive dirty, scuffed and wet…the plastic cover does the trick. 🙂
Sling Crossbody Bags. They are compact, chic, and made for travel. Being lightweight, hands-free, and surprisingly roomy its the perfect grab and go bag. I want to be able to fit all my essentials- phone, passport, wallet, and lip gloss- right where I need them without feeling heavy or bulky.
Everyone needs a classic tote or modern duffle bag. It should be spacious enough for a laptop, snacks, beauty pouch, and of course a special place your passport. It should be a lightweight multi-functional organization system, with a luggage handle. A handle is a must have on a travel bag.
A crossbody bag is ideal for hands free exploring while keeping essentials close and secure. Whether you’re exploring cobblestone streets in Italy, catching a sunset at the beach, or at an outdoor concert- a crossbody adds that effortless put-together look while keeping everything safe and close. I love the adjustable straps, and secure zippers on the Baggallini.
